M Prakash Institute Vs. Bakliwal Tutorials
Among the many JEE Coaching Classes in Pune, two names stand out among JEE aspirants: Bakliwal Tutorials and M Prakash.
As it goes without saying, outcomes are the genuine embodiment of the training provided in coaching programmes, and ultimately, good results are what everyone strives for. Because to their amazing achievements, M Prakash and Bakliwal Tutorials are the most sought after JEE Coaching Classes in Pune.
Prof. M. Prakash started M. Prakash Institute in 2002, and Mr Vaibhav Bakliwal founded Bakliwal Tutorials in April 2005.
This year, until phase 3 of JEE Mains 2021, nine of the top ten Pune rankers are from Bakliwal Tutorials, with one from M Prakash. Because the results were dominated by Bakliwal Tutorials followed by M Prakash, we have made a detailed comparison between the two.
Selection Procedure
Every year, approximately 800 students take the VIII std selection test and approximately 700 students take the XI std selection test for admission to M Prakash Institute. 240 students in the VIII std and 40 students in the XI std grade are admitted to the institute. M Prakash Institute’s selection test is a difficult exam that assesses students’ prior knowledge and critical thinking abilities. Advanced geometry and trigonometry are required to score pretty high on the entrance exam. M Prakash selects students who have excelled academically and have demonstrated exceptional performance.
Bakliwal Tutorials’ entrance exam is also difficult; it is on par with the JEE but takes a very different and unique approach. Vaibhav sir teaches a topic to students, and then a test is given based on that lecture. This test assesses students’ problem-solving and comprehension abilities. Students are admitted based on their performance. Based on their performance in the entrance examination, students are then chosen to enrol in various batches at Bakliwal Tutorials.
Teaching Methodology
Bakliwal Tutorials is fully committed to preparing students for engineering competitive examinations such as JEE, BITSAT, MHT-CET, and others. MPrakash Institute is dedicated to helping students achieve the level of genius required for IMO. At MPrakash Institute, Maths takes precedence over PCM.
BT emphasises conceptual understanding and problem-solving techniques across all subjects, preparing students for all competitive examinations. More than 90% of the teachers at Bakliwal Tutorials are IITians, with the remainder coming from well-known Indian universities and colleges.
Most crucially, M Prakash sir, the reason MPrakash was known for, no longer takes courses. He is no longer participating with the institute’s academics. The quality of teaching has declined after his departure since the current professors lack his experience and enthusiasm.
Results in JEE and other competitive examinations
JEE Advanced 2022
Pratik Sahoo is the Maharashtra Topper securing an All-India Rank of 7. With this Bakliwal Tutorials completed a hat-trick of producing Pune Rank 1 in JEE Advanced (2022, 2021 & 2020). Vedant Talegaonkar secured an AIR 89. 15 of their students secured AIR within 800.
On the other Hand, M Prakash produced All India rank of 114 & their second best was AIR 166.
JEE Main 2022
Amogh Bhagwat, from Bakliwal Tutorials secured Pune Rank 1 in JEE Main 2022 with an All India rank of 98.
Whereas for M Prakash Institute, we could not find any relevant Results for JEE Mains 2022.
